Mr. Tom Ademba
Executive Director
Tom leads Aid the Needy Kenya CBO with a vision for transforming lives across Kenya's Great Lakes Region. With over 15 years at the helm, he has built ATN-K into a reputable organization delivering water, health, education, food security, and sustainable livelihood programs to thousands of beneficiaries.
Mrs. Carolyne Awuor
Partnerships & Fundraising
Carolyne is the strategic force behind ATN-K's partnerships with international organizations across the Netherlands, Ireland, Belgium, Canada, and beyond. She builds and maintains relationships that sustain and grow the organization's programs across the Lake Victoria Basin.
Mr. Kennedy Onguny
Director of Programs
Kennedy oversees the delivery of all ATN-K's core programs — water and sanitation, health, food security, basic education, environment and climate resilience, and vocational training. He ensures every initiative is implemented with precision, community ownership, and lasting impact.
Mr. Michael Onyango Odongo
Partnerships & Outreaches Coordinator
Michael coordinates ATN-K's partnerships with international and local organizations, managing relationships with donors, NGOs, and government agencies across the Lake Victoria Basin. He bridges the gap between ATN-K's field programs and external stakeholders, ensuring every partnership delivers meaningful, measurable impact.
Angel Dotty
Education Coordinator
Angel coordinates ATN-K's basic education and vocational training initiatives across the region. She works closely with schools, vocational institutions, and community groups to open pathways to learning and self-reliance for youth and adults alike.

Bruce Gilbert
Bruce Gilbert is a community engagement practitioner with a career spanning government, academia, civil society, and international development. He served eight years on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador's senior executive team as Assistant Deputy Minister, leading collaborative public engagement and community-based research initiatives. He holds a PhD from Dalhousie University and a Master of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University, and has worked and volunteered across Africa, the Pacific, and Latin America. Bruce brings to ATN-K deep expertise in public engagement, policy development, environmental management, and community-led entrepreneurship.

Tibe Verelst
Tibe Verelst is a Belgian aeronautical engineer and international development advocate currently completing a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at KU Leuven, Belgium. He channels his technical expertise into community development through his leadership at Humasol, an international solidarity organisation, where he coordinates multiple teams deploying renewable energy, water purification, and sustainable agricultural technologies across the developing world. Having progressed through roles as Project Engineer and Public Relations representative, Tibe brings to ATN-K a rare combination of engineering rigour and grassroots development experience.

Fien Van Dijk
Fien Van Dijk is a Belgian student volunteer and board member at Humasol vzw, a student-led nonprofit operating across Ghent and Leuven that designs and implements small-scale renewable solutions — solar power, wind turbines, biodigesters, and water purification systems — in developing countries. Within Humasol's Follow-up team, Fien guides university engineering students as they prepare and execute sustainable technology projects across the Global South, bridging theoretical engineering knowledge with hands-on international development work. She brings to ATN-K a committed grassroots perspective and a passion for community-centred sustainable solutions.

Jan Licklicner
Jan Licklicner is a retired Attorney based in California, USA, who has dedicated her post-practice years to international health advocacy. She volunteers with PINCC International, a US-based foundation committed to preventing and treating cervical cancer in developing nations through education, screening, and treatment programmes. Jan brings to ATN-K a wealth of legal expertise and a deep commitment to women's health equity across underserved communities.
